Every Noise at once, a Must-see for Melomaniacs

Hola amigos! Every noise at once is  a questionless must-have in every music fan’s toolbar. Do you imagine a map which contains every genre and, furthermore, offers a list of most representative artists? Well, It might not be perfect, but still the best trial ever. This is a map created by Glenn McDonald for The Echo Nest, which is a company dedicated to the analysis of musical content and music fans.

The algorithm organises 1387 music genres based on qualitative relations. Despite the calibration is fuzzy, as it is described, the map is, in general, down more organic, up is more mechanical and electric; left is denser and more atmospheric, right is spikier and bouncier.

The artists content in each genre is, as well, qualitatively organised correlating the artist arisen from common characteristics.

It’s for sure that you will spend many hours on it 😉 Enjoy!
